Good place. After all the Hollywood commotion and homeless on the floors you walk into this place and feel completely in a different place. It's a bit pricey but the place and the energy and the people make it worth while. Ordered some peppers and edamame. And with some rolls. The corn crunch roll was the best.Oh and the creepy faces in the mirrors of the men's room.

I constantly arrive purchasing some food in this place. I love the quick customer service and well made food. Fantastic work.

Ordered the course meal. Totally worth it for the tastes that come one after another.

It's my favorite place in the city. A lot a cool people and always a good atmosphere. There is plenty of space in this bar, the bar extends into the back room so you don't have to head back to the grind bar. The drinks were great and could enjoy them in a classy setting. The bartenders are all awesome, I definitely can recommend this place.

Very beautiful place, but service was the worst. I ordered a drink and a dessert that never arrived. We got tired of waiting so we paid and left.

Was looking for a sushi place on a Friday night. This one was definitely one that caught my eye. The interior is super nice and the food comes out picture worthy. Great place to eat with friends or take someone on a date!

I visit this spot a lot since I work in the area. I must say their service is always fantastic and they keep the spot well organized constantly. Pricing is convenient and they serve large portions.

really tasty food, nice atmosphere. Where do you have a sushi restaurant with a DJ?! Only $20 for 5 pieces of gyoza is a lot of money. That makes me give 4 starts. The $20, that is excluding tax and tip, so add another 25%, making it $25...

Delicious! Servers are amazing and super attentive. Bussers are on it as soon as you're done with a plate, they come around to take it away. Best service ever. Atmosphere is incredible.

It doesn't get more LA than Hollywood and Vine and Katsuya does sushi perfect. I recommend the Omakase. Never have I disliked what was ordered.

Very posh location. It's super modern and sleek. The dining room is big! Staff is responsive and even during the lunchtime rush the food came out fairly quickly. No complaints.

Top level sushi place with an expensive price tag, But worth it. Their sushi is simply out of this world, Don't know how they prepare it to be so delicious but it seems like you just can't get enough from literally their entire menu. Everything we ordered was just mind blowing good.

Went for happy hour. Don't expect Much of a scene. But the sake is $5 the sushi is amazing. If you just wanna have a drink and some good food for a really good price it's a great place to go for happy hour

You don’t come to Hollywood without experience sushi at Katsuya. The Social Media 55 team is in love with every dish on your menu. Thank you for the hospitality and superb service.Miss the great service, awesome drinks and mouth watering recipes. Can’t wait to return and I will miss the warm rhyming welcome at the door when we arrive. Thank you for the great times and looking forward to seeing you all soon.

I really wasnt pleased with the service levels also not giving customers options for something as simple as a straw I am aware we are in California... but I find that is interesting how so much emphasis we put on one particular thing and not emphasis on others we have a homeless issue currently and we're worried about straws... they could have offered paper straws would have been better... And the way that the server by the name of Christopher reacted to my question was are arrogant and non helpful and want me to just understand that this is California but forgetting the fact that I'm a customer and I asked for that simple thing... What happened to good Old customer service California so over rated

Amazing sushi!! Every dish was freshly prepared, and came out timely. Drinks were solid. The food here is pretty pricey, though some may say it's worth the price. We were a bigger party but had the tiniest of tables. Somewhat comical when orders arrived and there was no where to put the dishes. Would go back for a celebration, but not for a casual bite to eat.

Amazing food, absolutely delicious and professionally composed and presented. The mood, lighting, setting was perfect. The staff were extremely nice and worked very quickly and efficiently. It's well worth your time and money.

One of my favorite sushi spots. Clean, good service, reasonable prices, most of all good sushi and food overall. I'm a regular the owner is nice too! Great sushi would recommend and bring family n friends!

To me this is one of the best sushi I’ve ever had in California. If you are visiting you must go there at least once, it’s an experience!
